Mondo Guerra is a gay Latino fashion designer, who is orginally from Denver. Mondo competed on the eigth season of Project Runway and more recently was the winner of Project Runway All Stars. During one of the challenges Mondo created a pair of pants with bright crosses, which he later dubbed as his signiture posativ clothing. The crosses symbolized Mondo’s HIV+ status that he had kept secret for 10 years. He is a fifth-generation Mexican-American. He has done a lot to raise awareness and decrease the stigma of people living with HIV.
