AWC Network Trips
Every year the Association of Women in Communication (CU Chapter) goes on a networking trip to a major city. During such trips, students will be able to tour and speak with professionals within the communication and journalism fields.

2006 Networking Trip

Destination: New York City, NY

Dates: DIA to LaGuardia Jan. 11th; LaGuardia to DIA Jan. 14th.

Hotel: Milford Plaza in Times Square

Transportation: Everyone will need to buy a Metro Pass when we get there. The best deal seems to be buying a one-day pass for the three days of traveling back and forth. I will be figuring out transportation to and from the airport.

    Cost: $7, reduced fare not available. Good for unlimited subway and local bus rides from first use until 3 a.m. the following day. Sold at MetroCard Vending Machines and at neighborhood stores.
    Not available at station booths.
