'El Norte' -- Violence Against Mexican Women in the 'Borderlands'

Focusing on the racial sexualization of Mexican women, this workshop exposes the economic and sexual exploitation of, and violence against Mexican women in the context of the politics of US/Mexican border as it is shaped by NAFTA. Ways to support and work with international coalitions and organizations will be explored.
