The CU Equestrian Team is Club Sport, meaning we receive some funding
from the University, but not enough to cover some of our most basic expenses.
Thus, we obtain the remainder of our money by fundraising throughout the
school year. Our team works hard to compete against other schools in the
region, and we have been very successful considering our non-agricultural
roots and lack of funding. Often times, we miss qualifying our team for
Nationals by just a few points. With a little extra funding, we would have a
greater opportunity to improve on the skills needed to succeed.
All donations will be used for club-related expenses only, including:
riding lessons, horse show entries, educational opportunities, facility use,
club activities, hotel accommodations, van rental expenses, and fuel.
