John Galvin is the University of Colorado Head Men's Lacrosse
Coach. In his three-year tenure at CU, Galvin has led the Buffaloes
to the highest USLIA rankings in school history; #3 in 2004, #5
in 2005, and #2 in 2006. The 2006 team, which featured five All-Americans,
was the most successful to date, competing in the USLIA's National
Championship versus intrastate rival CSU. Galvin earned Coach of
the Year honors from the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League and the
USLIA in 2004. He was honored with the same award by the University
of Colorado Collegiate Club Sports in 2005. Galvin began his coaching
career in 2003 as an Assistant Coach at Cortland State University
in New York and helped coach the Red Dragons to the Division III
Semifinals. In December of 2007 Coach Galvin attained a Masters
of Public Affairs from the University of Colorado, Denver.
