Eligibility
Any Undergraduate or Graduate (Masters Candidate) student who is an AIAA National member may submit a paper for entry. Students who are not AIAA National members cannot present papers, but can attend the conference at an additional cost of $50. Valid National member number is requested upon registration and paper submission for verification.

1st Place: $500
2nd Place: $300
3rd Place: $250
Team: Plaque and Journal Publication
Papers shall be no more than 11 pages including Figures and Tables. There are 2 categories: Individual (1-2 members) and Team (3-12 members). ALL members must attend the conference. Only one paper per project. Papers written by a combination of graduate and undergraduates students will be judged under the Graduate level. Authors/Teams only eligable for one award.

Example Papers
We hosted the Student Conference a few years ago, and we have lots of example papers. If you would like to view copies of submitted papers, please let us know. We can look for papers related to your particular topic, winning papers, etc.
CU Students have won 2nd place in 2003 (paper) , 1st in 2005 (paper & presentation), 1st team (paper) , 1st graduate (paper & presentation) and 3rd team(paper & presentation). Also, go check out the winning Plaque in the display case outside of the Eaton Conference Room (ECAE 142).
