Our Mission
The Office of Financial Aid is committed to making an education at the University of Colorado at Boulder a reality for aspiring students by assisting them and their families in applying for and obtaining the financial assistance for which they are eligible. We strive to provide exceptional customer service so that every encounter with our office is a positive experience. Guiding PrinciplesThe Office of Financial Aid’s primary goal is to use its resources to help attract and maintain a student body that will enrich our community and advance the educational goals of our students. Additionally, we aim to ensure that students who aspire to attend the University will not be prevented from enrolling or graduating solely for lack of financial resources. Our student-focused staff works to provide planning and advising services that will assist our students and their families to plan wisely for education expenses by evaluating their existing resources and preparing them to manage any debt that arises from obtaining educational loans. The office will focus on providing quality customer service. Quality service will be defined in terms of responsiveness to students and their families expressed needs, accuracy and timely delivery of funds and compliance with federal and state regulations. Student Loan Code of ConductThe Office of Financial Aid's belief that no student should be prevented from enrolling or graduating solely for lack of financial resources is the cornerstone of the financial aid program at the University of Colorado at Boulder. It is important that students and families have confidence in the financial assistance provided by UCB. The Student Loan Code of Conduct was created to ensure the highest ethical standards and to foster confidence in the Office of Financial Aid.
