WRC Advisory Board

Advisory Board

The Advisory Board was first convened by the University of Colorado Student Union Legislative Council in February 1994. The board's sole purpose is to oversee the WRC and work hand in hand with the director making sure the center complies with its mission statement. Through leadership and outreach, the board helps develop a vision for the W. Currently, the Advisory Board is working on developing the WRC's new women's journal, Evoke.

The Advisory Board guides the WRC and ensures that it is acting according to its mission. Through policy-making, leadership, and outreach, The board develops a vision for the center in conjunction with volunteers and interested people. The board creates policy and goals, guides public relations and fundraising, and maintains fiscal responsibility through the budget process. Board meetings are open to the public.
