Focus on pp. 50 - 53, "Free Human Production"

In this section, Marx examines the relationship between man, work and product under three conditions: production for use, alienated production based on private property and self interest, and free human production, when relations among producers are transparent and self affirming. This is a more philosophical rendering of the points made in Capital, Vol. I, pp. 236-239. It is useful to compare the two statements to strengthen your understanding of the main points.
