Welcome to the Science Technology Engineering & Math (STEM) Education Portal at the University of Colorado. Here we have information on science & mathematics, and engineering education, learning, course and curricular assessment, and the preparation of science and mathematics teachers at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Integrating STEM (iSTEM) Education is a 5-year initiative to establish the University of Colorado as a national hub of STEM education research and reform. Specifically, iSTEM will become a distributed national institute located within the University of Colorado to coordinate and centralize:
1) efforts to transform STEM education,
2) research on STEM education,
3) STEM Teacher preparationEach of these areas includes multiple projects funded by the NSF, iSTEM seeks to streamline and coordinate their efforts.
