If there were no spiders, would insects rule the world? How much weight can a cockroach really carry? Spend time in the Butterfly Pavilion animal rearing room, learn how to raise insects and become an expert in field observation. Earn your own “Bug Badge” exploring behind-the-scenes at the Butterfly Pavilion & Insect Center. Dig deep to discover how the odd and crazy world of bugs and their relatives really works! Please bring a non-peanut snack and a water bottle.

PLEASE NOTE: You do not have to take Spiders, Bugs and Butterflies 1 to enroll in this class, but it is highly encouraged.
