Space Odyssey & Telescopes

Come explore the mysteries of space! Discover how a star is born. Make a star clock that really tells time. Experience a meteor shower and search for bits of meteorites here on Earth. Discover that asteroids not only make huge craters but can sometimes be tasty too! Ponder being stretched like spaghetti as you slide into a black hole. And last, but not least, build your own telescope to take home and use. Join us to learn all this and more right here in our own galaxy!

This class was created in collaboration with the Space Science Institute which carries out world-class research in space and earth science together with innovative science education programs. www.spacescience.org
