Solar Racers

Hey girls, hey boys, here's a chance to build your dream model car powered by the renewable energy of the sun! We'll provide a solar panel, motor, wheels, axles, and expert advice for your one-of-a-kind vehicle that you creatively design and take home. Make it fast, fancy, futuristic, and fuel-less. The idea is to have fun! Throughout the design and building process, you'll gain an understanding of science and engineering. Then get ready to race your fabulous, lightning speed car using only the power of the sun. At the end of our week, take your solar racer home to race another day! There is a $35.00 materials fee included in the cost of the class.
