Science in Motion Come learn and apply creativity, physics, chemistry, engineering, and problem solving to build a Rube Goldberg machine. A Rube Goldberg is a complex device that performs a simple task in convoluted, whimsical way. We will explore how things work as we explore gravity, friction, gears, pulleys, kinetic and potential energy, chemical reactions, and many others as we construct a Rube Goldberg device. This hands-on experience allows the students explore their creativity, teamwork, and problem solving skills as we construct a working device that will be presented the final day. CLASS CODE: SIM/7 |
