Science Adventures 2

Suit up for the second round of exploring the science destinations of Boulder and Denver County. We will visit two of the top national science laboratories in the world: National Renewable Energy Lab and Center for Atmospheric Research. We will spend a day in the life of a university student visiting the campus' main attractions such as: the CU Museum, the Ramaley Aquariums, and the world famous Physics Exhibits. We will then travel in time to the Gates Planetarium and Denver Museum of Nature and Science for a full day of manipulating and interacting in the myriad of exploration rooms. We will also investigate the Clear Creek Watershed from Colorado Mountain Club in Golden and pursue ecology investigations on a unique wildlife preserve, Majestic View Nature Center. There will be no shortage of exploration and fun in this field class.

Come prepared with sturdy walking shoes, hat, sunscreen, daypack, waterproof windbreaker, water bottle, a non-peanut snack, and bag lunch each day. Students will be transported in University vans with a trained driver.
