Rockets for Junior Astronauts

Clean out your closets and cupboards! Use those disposable household items to build a kid-size rocket ship! We provide the cardboard and nose cone, but the rest will be left up to your imagination. Controls, knobs, instruments, fins -- you'll need it all as you take an imaginary journey through the Solar System in the Fiske Space Theater. While building your own rocket, you'll also learn how rockets are able to fly so high and what it is like to be an astronaut. You will even help BLAST OFF a model rocket and watch a film of a real rocket launch!
