Marine Biology

Some of the most fascinating animals live in our oceans. Come join us as we dive into the watery realm where they live. From the life zone of the rocky shore to the deepest, darkest depth of the ocean floor, we'll discover and learn about the sea creatures found there. Find out about the only living thing that can be seen from space. Who is the old man in the sea? Do all sharks need to be feared? A variety of University specimens will help us to discover the vast diversity of life found in the world's great oceans. We'll create interesting and fun art projects and feel what it's like to stick our hands inside a jellyfish!
