Dragonfly's Tale – Insects in Native American Stories & Art

What role did insects and other invertebrates play in the lives of the first Americans? Through mythology and fun art projects, we'll explore a different Native American culture each day. We'll create a beautiful dragonfly like the one made by a Zuni boy to save his village, and make a spider web-like dream catcher to take home. Find out what happens when Grandmother Spider steals the sun. Discover how butterflies came to be and many other fascinating Native American stories in this fun, one-of-a-kind, art-filled class.
