Crime Scene Investigation

In this class we'll uncover how forensic science enables us to find and examine clues at crime scenes. As forensic scientists you will solve “unsolvable” crimes by learning the tricks of the trade. You'll learn about fingerprints, how to find them, and how to identify them. You'll use chromatography to analyze colors in substances and try your hand at blood typing with chemically simulated blood. You'll find out about DNA and how it is used to identify people. Microscopes will help you to examine fibers and other evidence. Each day your CSI team will handle one mini-case. On the final day, you'll put your skills to the test to solve a case. Do you detect an interest? If so, then sign up to crack some cases.
