Chemistry Fun Mixing of "potions" has long fascinated people. Indeed, measuring and combining inactive substances can often have dramatic results. In this class, we will unravel the mysteries of chemistry using common household chemicals. We'll explore the world of atoms, molecules, acids/bases, chemical reactions, and polymers. We'll make slime, rubber balls, nylon, glue and silly putty. We’ll also get to observe reactions that fizz, foam and maybe even fly! In addition, we will learn about fiber reactive dyes as we each make our own tie-dye T-shirt. CLASS CODE: CF/1 |
