CU Science Discovery Collaborations with Faculty and Academic Departments

As stated in our mission, Science Discovery collaborates with CU faculty and academic departments to create programs that highlight current research, provide outreach opportunities for faculty, and showcase university expertise and resources. By working closely with faculty, CU Science Discovery ensures that scientific excellence is maintained and that educational methodologies reflect the latest trends and research in teaching and learning. The attached chart lists the collaborations between Science Discovery, CU faculty and their academic departments starting in 2000 through the present (2003).

Mission Statement:
Science Discovery, established in 1983, is an experience-based, educational outreach program of the University of Colorado at Boulder. Science Discovery's mission is to stimulate scientific interest, understanding and literacy among Colorado's youth, teachers and families by interfacing with the University's resources and academic expertise. Science Discovery is dedicated to engaging the whole person in the journey of learning, thereby strengthening individual capacities to participate actively in local and world communities.
