These are points students should keep in mind while working through the Math Modules.
-Buy the book for your course, and do all of the reading and homework. This is even more important for Math Modules than in traditional classes, as its your primary means of learning the material.
-If there is a lecture available for your course, sign up for it (and attend regularly). This gives you a chance to hear a different explanation of the material than the texts, and a chance to ask questions.
-Watch the videos for each section.
-Make use of the tutoring center. Be prepared with questions when you go in. The tutors are there to help you through the rough spots, but they need you to tell them where youre having problems. The tutors dont have any magic methods for getting the right answers on the test without learning the materials, but theyll gladly help you to learn.
-Get started early on your Math Module studies. Waiting until the last minute will have you trying to cram in information and methods, and waiting in long lines to speak with a tutor or take a test. It can also limit the number of chances you have to take tests for each section. If you keep on pace with 1.5-2 units of material each week, then you can complete the required exams by the relevant deadlines. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR KNOWING AND KEEPING YOUR MODULE DEADLINES.
