Major Publications

The University of Colorado at Boulder Catalog is published each spring and is available after April 1. A free catalog is provided to new students at mandatory orientations hosted by individual colleges and schools throughout the summer. Students admitted to colleges and schools that do not require attendance at an orientation will be mailed a catalog. Copies of the catalog may also be purchased from the CU Book Store at www.colorado.edu/catalog/cat_order.html. Current and past catalogs may be viewed online at www.colorado.edu/catalog.

Ralphie's Guide to Student Life is published in the late spring and distributed to all new students at orientation. It contains important information on many aspects of life at CU-Boulder, including registration, advising, housing, entertainment, volunteer opportunities, and much more. Current students receive a copy in the mail. Ralphie's Guide may be also viewed online at Ralphie's Info Center.

The Boulder Campus Directory is published each fall and distributed in early November. One directory for each telephone is delivered to all students, faculty, and staff on campus. For information on how to update directory information, see page xi of the directory. To locate a student, staff, or faculty member, see the online directory.

Please Recycle Your Old Publications

Place old directories and catalogs in recycling bins labeled Magazines and Phone Books. These bins can generally be found at the loading dock and at various other locations in your building. For locations on campus, visit: http://recycling.colorado.edu/cu_recycling/paper_locations.html. If there are no Magazines and Phone Books bins in your building, you may stack them next to any blue recycling bin. They will be collected on the next regularly scheduled pickup day. DO NOT put the directories and catalogs in bins that are not labeled Magazines and Phone Books. This includes your desk-side bin.

Place old copies of Ralphie’s Guide in recycling bins labeled Office Pak. These bins are located in central areas throughout your building. You can also recycle them in your desk-side bin (use the Office Pak side).
