BSI Sponsored Science Research Opportunities for CU-Boulder Undergraduates

BURST: Bioscience Undergraduate Research Skills and Training Program
Students with little or no research experience earn an hourly wage working on a research project with a faculty mentor. Preference given to sophomores and juniors.

NIH Scholars Program for Diversity in the Biosciences
Multi-year research program that serves members of racial/ethnic minority groups historically underserved in science, math and engineering, OR first generation college students who are economically disadvantaged according to federal guidelines.

UROP-HHMI (Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program)
Advanced level research experience intended for students with previous research experience.

CURE (Clinical Undergraduate Research Experience)
Summer research program for students interested in gaining experience in a clinical or translational research lab at the University of Colorado at Denver Anschutz Medical Center.

Colorado Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CCTSI) Research Grant
Summer research program for students traditionally underrepresented in the biological sciences interested in gaining experience in a clinical or translational research lab at the University of Colorado at Denver Anschutz Medical Center.

BSI Undergraduate Travel Grants
Students in BSI sponsored programs may apply for funds to travel to student research conferences or scientific meetings.
