Information for Graduate Students

The Office of International Education (OIE) offers advice to graduate students wishing to incorporate an international experience in their graduate degree programs. We serve as the campus coordinator for the U.S. Student Fulbright competition and for the National Security Education Program fellowships.

• Fulbright Program for U.S. Students:  Current CU-Boulder students who wish to apply for a Fulbright must apply through OIE.  We also occasionally assist alumni with their applications. 

We provide extensive advising for our Fulbright applicants, but it is up to you to contact us early so you can maximize this benefit.  The annual deadline for application is in the early fall semester.  We suggest you start planning in the previous spring semester or even earlier.  Follow this link to see the CU-Boulder "Guide for Fulbright Applicants" that contains helpful advice to make your Fulbright proposal the best it can be.
