| Gilbert F. White, distinguished professor emeritus of geography
at CU-Boulder, won the 2002 Lifetime Achievement Honors
from the Association of American Geographers. White has
won numerous awards, including the nation’s highest
scientific honor, the National Medal of Science, and the
National Academy of Sciences’ Public Welfare Medal. |
Costs
- Undergraduate tuition per semester for full-time students
in the College of Arts and Sciences for 2002-03 is $1,388 (resident)
and $9,060 (non-resident).
- Graduate tuition per semester for most full-time students
for 2002-03 is $1,845 (resident) and $9,060 (non-resident).
- In addition to tuition, CU-Boulder students pay $395.17 in
mandatory fees per semester for services including athletics,
recreation, RTD bus passes, student government and cultural
events. Graduate students pay an additional $4.50 per semester
to the United Government of Graduate Students on campus. Health
insurance is additional, and some individual courses require
fees for special materials or equipment.
- Since 1993, special course fees approved by the Board of
Regents have been assessed in engineering, journalism and mass
communication, music, natural sciences and other disciplines.
- On-campus housing costs for 2002-03 are $3,136 per semester
per student for a double room, including 19 meals per week.
