Vision Statement

The University of Colorado Boulder's Naval ROTC program develops midshipmen and officer candidates mentally, morally, and physically imbue them with the highest ideals of duty and loyalty, and with the Navy and Marine Corps core values of honor, courage and commitment. Upon completion of their academic degree and Naval ROTC requirements, graduates possess a basic professional background, are motivated toward careers in the naval service, and have a potential for future development in mind and character so as to assume the highest responsibilities of command, citizenship and government. Graduates are generally commissioned immediately into the active duty Navy or Marine Corps as Ensigns or Second Lieutenants.
