Chris earned a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the
New Jersey Institute of Technology. In 1999, he received the
Outstanding Senior Award for the highest GPA in the graduating class.
His research with the Granular Science Lab at NJIT involved an
experimental study of the dynamics of particle percolation. Chris also
served as an engineer for: Lucent, doing FEA analysis to predict
earthquake damage to equipment, and Oxford Superconductor as a
cryogenic test engineer. During his tenure working in Professor Bright's MEMS lab at CU, he was involved in a project to
develop polymer based flexible thermal ground planes for application in thermal management.
