Fluid Connections

Bi-weekly Meetings

Fridays 12:00pm-1:00pm in MCEN Conference Room
If you are interested in participating in this collaborative, the bi-weekly meetings offer an discussion orientated environment to foster interaction and learning. Meetings include presentations, problem solving discussions, and inter-department socializing. Contact Shanon Reckinger for more information.

Upcoming Events
April 29th, 2011
  • Dr. Starkey : "Multidisciplinary Design Optimization of Hypersonic Systems"
The talk will focus mostly on the interdisciplinary aspects of optimizing hypersonic air-breathing vehicles with considerations for aerodynamics, thermodynamics, propulsion, controls, aeroelasticity, and trajectory aspects. I will also give a general overview of my research group activities for those who aren’t familiar with what we do in the Busemann Advanced Concepts Lab.
