Welcome
The Collaborative for Fluid and Energy Sciences, CFES, is an interdisciplinary research-based group at the University of Colorado at Boulder. CFES, founded in the Spring of 2009, comprises students, faculty, and researchers who explore relevant scientific and engineering problems using computational, experimental, and theoretical methods. While CFES addresses all three domains, the group's principal focus is computational modeling and simulations. Some current research topics are turbulent, multiphase, geophysical, and reacting flows.
