Dauber hits the highway

Associate Professor Roslyn Dauber was one of 14 University of Colorado faculty members who embarked upon the first Colorado Traveling Seminar late last spring. The goal of the group's five-day bus trip was to learn more about the state and its residents. Among the stops were the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, a steel mill in Pueblo, Great Sand Dunes National Monument, a San Luis Valley mushroom-processing factory, the state prison in Canon City, Colorado Mountain College near Glenwood Springs and Copper Mountain Ski Resort. Along the way, the group met with a variety of Colorado residents including state prisoners, small-college faculty members, newspaper publishers and steel workers.
