Joseph Champ (joseph.champ@ucsu.colorado.edu) is a doctoral candidate in media studies at the University of Colorado's School of Journalism and Mass Communication. As a research team member, Joseph interviews families with younger and older children. He specializes in the role of media in environmental meaning making. Before returning to school, Joseph spent ten years in broadcast television in the upper Midwest, working as a news reporter, photographer, anchor, and documentary producer.
