| Diane Alters (diane.alters@ucsu.colorado.edu) is a third-year doctoral student in media studies at the University of Colorado at Boulder. As a member of the projects research team, she interviews families with young children. She specializes in identity issues and the application of social theory to case studies. Prior to her doctoral studies, Diane has been a reporter or editor at several newspapers, including The Boston Globe, The Sacramento Bee, and The Colorado Springs Gazette. At The Globe, she covered the presidential campaign of George Bush in 1988. She is married and has a young son. |
