Single Line Telephones

  • For users who answer only their own calls
  • Wall mounted or desk style, with a message waiting lamp
  • Simple codes access a wide variety of telephone features
  • Two models of single line telephones currently exist.

Multiline 8410 Telephone

  • For users who handle multiple calls and need a built-in display
  • 10 programmable buttons to answer calls or to activate/deactivate telephone system features
  • Conference, transfer, drop, and hold buttons
  • Full duplex speakerphone and message waiting lamp
  • Display shows calling/called party and call status information
  • One touch activation of 12 pre-programmed features via "soft" buttons on the display

Multiline 8434 Telephone

  • For users handling extremely high volumes of calls
  • 34 programmable buttons to answer calls or to activate/deactivate telephone system features
  • Conference, transfer, drop, and hold buttons
  • Full duplex speakerphone and message waiting lamp
  • Display shows calling/called party and call status information
  • One touch activation of 12 pre-programmed features via "soft" buttons on the display

External Bell

  • Use when one extension is answered by more than one person
  • Rings when your telephone rings
  • When centrally located can easily heard throughout a large area

Bee Hive Lamp

  • For use as indicator lamps by the Deaf and hard-of-hearing
  • For use as threshold indicators for queuing applications
  • Can be attached in a variety of locations

Handset Cord

  • Connects the handset to the telephone
  • In standard 5, 15 or 25 foot lengths
  • Available for pickup at the Customer Service Center, Telecommunication Services

Mounting Cord

  • Connects your telephone to the wall jack
  • In standard 7, 14, or 25 foot lengths
  • Available for pickup at the Customer Service Center, Telecommunication Services

Amplified Handset

  • Available for all telephones
    (The volume control key on 8410 or 8434 multiline sets also controls the handset volume.)
  • For use by hard-of-hearing customers
  • For use in environments with background noise
  • Equipped with a volume control switch

Headset

  • Allows hands-free operation while conducting business
  • Single and dual earpad models include an adaptor
  • Mulitline headsets provide true hands-free operation
  • Single line headsets require use of switchhook to answer/disconnect calls

Cellular & Cordless Telephones, Pagers

  • Available for University departments only
  • For purchase information for official University use, contact Procurement at 303-315-2846..
  • There are no arrangements or special prices for purchases by University employees for personal use.
