Overview
ITS offers a variety of technological resources that can enhance classroom
instruction.
- Technology
Experimentation Center Come look at and experiment with
a variety of technology for classroom use. Electronic whiteboards, laptops,
digital cameras, videoconferencing programs, and more are available.
- Ethernet
Connections in Classrooms A number of classrooms across
campus contain ethernet connections at student desks as well as professor
stations.
- Computing
Classrooms The Humanities Building has several classrooms
equipped with Mac or PC computer stations, all of which are connected
to the Internet.
- Computing
Labs Labs are located throughout campus with Mac or PC
machines. Students can use them on their own, and some can be reserved
by faculty and staff.
- Stadium 350 Experimentation Classroom
Available to faculty and staff for reservation. Contains
a number of PCs, both laptop and desktop, and all are connected to the
Internet.
- Educational
Technology Facilities Support (ETFS) Creates, maintains
and supports campus technology classrooms and lecture halls, and provides
television and Internet services in classrooms, engineering support
for campus television studios, and audiovisual and multimedia equipment
support in classrooms and lecture halls.
