Overview

You can setup your Palm OS device to connect to CU's wireless internet, UCB Wireless. Follow these instructions to setup UCB Wireless.

Instructions

1. Open the Palm Prefs application.

2. Select the drop-down menu from the top-right-hand side of the screen. Choose Network.

3. The Service page will open. Select the Service drop-down menu, and choose Wireless LAN.

4. Select the Details button.

5. The Wireless LAN Setup page will open. Select the title bar at the upper left corner of the screen. The Options menu will open (or you may have to choose the Options icon).

6. The title bar should now read Information. Choose ConnectionStatus from the menu options.

7. The first item in the list should be your MAC address. Write this down. You'll enter this in the manual registration page.

8. Go to the Manual Registration page, and enter in the 6 character address.

9. Restart your device.

10. Follow your device's (or external wireless card's) instructions to activate your wireless card. Choose UCB Wireless from any available networks.
