Tips & Tricks
Grades Don't Appear
- Description: In some situations, grades uploaded from a .csv file do not appear in the CULearn grade book.
- Impact: Instructors and students can't view grades.
- Resolution: One cause for this situation is that the default behavior of CULearn is to not display new columns of data. Select "View All" columns in the grade book to view recently updated columns.

Grade Upload Error
- Description: In some situations, when grades are uploaded into the grade book via a .csv file, CULearn returns an error message.
- Impact: The .csv file fails to upload and therefore the grades are not inserted into the grade book.
- Resolution:
- Download a .csv file from the grade book. Let's call this File B.
- Let's call the file that didn't upload properly, File A.
- Copy the columns of grades you want to include in the CULearn grade book from your File A into File B
- Upload File B into your grade book. Instructions on uploading files into the grade book.
