There are periodic beginner-level

IBM SPSS Statistics is a widely-used statistical software product used for analyzing and modeling data, from SPSS Inc.
Eligibility:
SPSS licenses (via our site license) are available to faculty and staff on any of the CU campuses, on university-owned computers.
Platforms:
SPSS Statistics 18.0 and 17.0 are available for both Windows and Mac OS X (Intel only) platforms. Only version 18.0 is supported in Windows 7 and Snow Leopard (Mac OS 10.6).
2009-2010 fee schedule:
The fee for an SPSS license good through July 2010 is $100. Licensed users are entitled to upgrading to newer versions of SPSS as they become available.
How to get it:
Send the following information to sitelic@colorado.edu:
- SpeedType (8-digit departmental account code) to which license fee can be charged; or, personal check
- Operating system of computer; Mac or Windows?
What is included:
The campus license includes SPSS Statistics 18.0 Base, Advanced Statistics, Tables, Regression, Trends, Categories, Forecasting, and (Windows only) AMOS. Additional modules (such as Decision Trees or Missing Values) are available in the SPSS Faculty Pack, available online through CU Book Store (via CU Connect).
