Our
Philanthropy...
It is
the spirit of community service that has brought the sisters of
Chi Omega into the Make-A-Wish family. Chi Omega chapters support
the Make-A-Wish foundation, as their national philanthropy, through
volunteering, fund raising, and special events across the United
States. Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening
illnesses to enrich their lives with hope, strength and friendly
smiles.

(article published in 2003 Summer edition
of Zeta News)
On Wednesday the 4th of October, our friends and fellows Greeks
filled Hale 240 as Chi Omega hosted their first annual lipsync competition for their
philanthropy, Make-A-Wish.
The fraternity boys dressed up in crazy costumes and entertained the
crowd with their crazy dance moves It was a great success, as we raised
almost twice as much as last year, and were fortunate enough to be
able to give the Make-A-Wish Foundation over $2,400. Thank you to everyone who participated!
A special thanks goes to Katelyn Centerwall, our Philanthropy chair, who
made this all possible!
The lipsync was a great success, and we can't wait until next year
to try and raise more money. Chi-O is thankful for the opportunity
to share the power of granting a wish.
