Coming Out Fatihful (PRISM)

PRISM is CU’s Progressive Radically Inclusive Student Ministry; an ecumenical ministry supported for several progressive Christian and Unitarian Universalist local churches. We are “open and affirming”, which means that we not only welcome the GLBT community, but also affirm that we are all called to fully accept our sexuality and ourselves. We welcome everyone in our community, regardless of sex, race, abilities, believes, sexual identity or sexual orientation, and encourage everyone to share their talents in life, liturgy and leadership of our ministry.

Our most valued beliefs are our common beliefs in the value of our differences, the importance of harmony, the power of love, and the need for spirituality in
our lives.

Fall Meetings:  First Tuesday of each month from 5-6pm in Willard 227.

Join us on Wednesdays, 6:00pm, at the PRISM house (1041 Grandview Ave. – One block north of University Ave. and one block west of Broadway).

Queer Initiative

The Queer Initiative is a politically motivated organization that fights for the inclusion of ALL PEOPLE. Through our SPEECH and our ACTION, we strive to build an inclusive campus. While we work a lot with the Queer community, we understand that the tools of oppression effect everyone. It is not enough to work against oppression in one community and leave others with the burden of inequality. The Queer Initiative's goal is to FIGHT OPPRESSION EVERYWHERE.

For more information email queer.initiative@colorado.edu .
