Minimum of 39 credit hours in the major consisting of:

ARTS 1020 INTRODUCTION TO ART 2
ARTH 1300 WORLD ART 1
ARTH 1400 WORLD ART 2
ANY (3) 3000 LEVEL ART HISTORY courses (9 credits)
ANY (3) 4000 LEVEL ART HISTORY courses (9 credits)
FINE ARTS ELECTIVES (6 credits) (Any ARTs or ARTH course, upper or lower division or six hours of fourth semester or higher foreign language).

ARTH/4919 ART HISTORY SEMINAR

Distribution requirements (effective for majors declaring in the Fall of 2009 or thereafter) complete at least six hours at the 3000 or 4000 level in each of three areas: Ancient and/or African/American/Asian/Australian, Medieval and/or Early Modern (a.k.a. Renaissance and Baroque), and Modern and/or Contemporary. Students must take at least one course in African, American, Asian, or Australian art at the 3000 or 4000 level.
