Faculty Positions
The Department of Art and Art History at the University of Colorado, Boulder seeks a faculty member in Painting and Drawing, to be appointed at the level of Assistant or tenured Associate Professor, to begin August 2010. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate level courses (two classes per semester), conduct individual research (demonstrated by a strong body of creative work), possess knowledge of the history and contemporary practices of painting and drawing, have strong formal and conceptual skills, and engage in service/committee responsibilities involving a high degree of organizational ability.
An MFA degree is required, with teaching experience at the college level. We encourage all individuals with college-level teaching experience, including those already with the rank of Assistant or Associate professor to apply. Salary and the level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
