Introduction
"Notes
from the IFS desk" used to be a regular feature on IFS calendars.
As print and mailing costs climbed, the calendar was condensed from coming
out twice a semester to once a semester and these notes were dropped
to make room for the additional film copy. Due to the pressing need to
update IFS customers on several new issues, "Notes from the IFS
desk" is now being brought back, via our website, and making up
