Old announcements...
The last week at IFS is full of changes, additions, and exciting events:

IFS SCREENING TO BE PROTESTED
We have just found out that our screening on Wednesday, April 21, at 7pm & 9pm
of THE REVOLUTION WILL NOT BE TELEVISED (which is being co-sponsored by The Present Tense Film Soiree Series who will lead a discussion on the film after the 7pm show) is going to be protested. We welcome the protestors and the goal for both the IFS and PTFSS is to have a peaceful discussion on this volatile subject.

SPECIAL EVENT ADDED:
STANLEY KUBRICK’S PERSONAL ASSISTANT OF 25 YEARS COMES TO IFS FREE SCREENING OF BARRY LYNDON – THURSDAY, APRIL 22, 7PM ONLY. ARCHIVE PRINT STRAIGHT FROM THE WARNER BROS. VAULT!
Leon Vitali is a distinguished actor, casting director, and was Kubrick’s personal assistant of 25 years. Vitali played the pivotal supporting role of Lord Bullingdon alongside Ryan O’Neal in BARRY LYNDON. He also had a role in EYES WIDE SHUT and was Kubrick’s assistant and casting director in THE SHINING, FULL METAL JACKET, and EYES WIDE SHUT. He will be at the IFS screening of BARRY LYNDON this Thursday, April 22, at 7pm, in-person to share his unique insight into the life and work of one of America’s most famous directors of all time. Made possible by the James and Rebecca Roser Visiting Artist Program, the
Center for the Humanities and Arts, and help from the Performance Arts Fee.

FRIDAY & SATURDAY SPECIAL EVENTS – CANCELLED TO BE REPLACED WITH FREE SCREENINGS OF THE TRIPLETS OF BELLEVILLE
Directors Peter O’Fallon and Roger Avary were scheduled to come to IFS on Friday, April 23 and Saturday, April 24th. Due to schedule conflicts, they now plan on coming at a later date as part of a to-be-announced separate event. THE TRIPLETS OF BELLEVILLE – Friday, April 23rd, at 7pm only, and again on
Saturday, April 24th, at 7pm only. Free Admission.

-= AN IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE FASSBINDER FILMS: All of these will be 7pm-only showings. There will be no late shows (apologies for the earlier incorrect postings).
