Most films are $5 general admission and $4 for CU Boulder students with valid ID

For festival screenings or special premieres, other prices might apply. Please also note that for free events or special screenings wherein a filmmaker is in attendance seats are given away purely on a first-come, first serve basis - with no seats saved for anyone not present. Such shows tend to fill to capacity and force us to turn-away latecomers, so please show up early.

IFS shows are held in Muenzinger Auditorium, just west of the Folsom Stadium on the C.U. Boulder campus. Please visit our map section for more detailed instructions on how to find us.

All 35mm films are projected on two upright change-over projectors operated by a union projectionist. We do not use any form of automated service or platter system. Our auditorium has 404 seats and is wheelchair accessible (please ask the cashier for assistance). We do not ever show commercials in front of our films and limit the amount of film previews to no more than three (or none at all). We reserve the right to show a short cartoon, instead of previews, before any film. We ask all customers to turn off their cell phones before entering our theater and to refrain from any form of talking that might interfere with the right of every customer to view the film in silence. We are proud to be one of Boulder's quietest theaters and this is a contributing factor to why we don't sell candy, food, or other concessions at our venue.
