Brakhage Symposium
The annual Brakhage Symposium honors the late Stan Brakhage by bringing together film/video artists, scholars, critics, archivists and others in the field to discuss and screen independent experimental moving image art during the day long event. |
International
Film Series
The IFS played a crucial role in building up an audience in Boulder for the works by such directors as Akira Kurosawa, Ingmar Bergman, Federico Fellini, John Cassavetes, and many more. The IFS remains committed to eclectic cinema that is locally programmed. |
First Person Cinema
The First Person Cinema program, started in the 1950's, is the longest running experimental film show case of its kind in the world.
Each semester we bring in visiting film and video artists to present their work to the campus community and the public. |
