When opening a PDF document, Adobe Acrobat will operate within your Web Browser. Thus, the document you read will appear as a Web page. However, unlike normal Web (HTML) text, the PDF document will print just as it appears on the screen. Furthermore, you can navigate through multiple pages in PDF rather than as one long Web page (as in HTML).
