President Hoffman presented with news specifically related to performance contracts and core curriculum.  Contract negotiations are being conducted in good faith on the basis of SB 189 and CU has committed itself to meeting the following four needs of access and affordability, quality, efficiency, and meeting the needs of the state.

The Admissions Policy was approved for consideration by the full BFA on November 4, 2004. 

The Retiree Parking Permit and Eco Pass proposal was discussed and the policy approved to be forwarded to the full BFA for the November 4 meeting with a clearer definition of the word “active.” 

BFA and ASC representatives will go to their department constituents and conduct straw polls regarding Course Repetition; Bintliff stated that the BFA will have the dispositive vote on the issue and asked if the Executive Committee wished to forward the policy as written to the BFA November 4 which was approved.
