On September 3, 1981, the Assembly passed the following motion: "All actions
of the BFA, which result in significant formulation of policy or in requests
to the administration which have long-term significance, should be incorporated
in an APPENDIX to the bylaws of the Boulder Faculty Assembly." The following
appendices are included with the bylaws for purposes of information, but are
not part of them. These matters may be compiled, indexed and updated from time
to time by the Office of the Secretary, and shall be approved by the Chair of
the Assembly, but they need not be presented formally to the Assembly.
