Resolution: Academic Progress of Student Athletes

BFA-X-R-2-0303

Whereas:

- the purpose of a university is to educate, and

- continuity in education is important

Be it resolved that the Boulder Faculty Assembly Executive Committee strongly endorses the principle that no student-athlete be permitted to participate in official post-season sports events without having completed at least six semester credit hours towards degree completion, with a minimum grade of C-, in the semester before that postseason event.
